I am emailing as many people as possible to ask them to consider voting for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to win a grant of €30,000. The grant would mean they could plant 10km of wildflowers rich habitat along the Pembrokeshire coastline to help save the rare Shrill Carder Bumblebee from extinction.

They are in a kind of X factor situation and up against 5 other very big charities (all very lovely charities!). The BCT don’t have the PR or media contacts that the other charities have so although they are ahead at the moment in the voting, the PR machines of the other charities have now kicked in....
