Transition has two major approaches to energy:
- Generating sustainable energy locally
- reducing energy use
Transition Malvern Hills is involved in both.
Malvern Community Energy Co-operative
A major initiative by the energy group is the Malvern Community Energy Co-operative. This is a community-owned initiative bringing members of the public a new opportunity to invest locally in sustainable energy. They aim to provide clean and sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels in the Malvern area.
They have already installed a 30 kWp Solar PV on the Malvern Cube.
See their website malverncommunityenergy.org for more information.
Energy Tracers
